Alejandro Betancourt Lopez’s Endeavours

Alejandro Betancourt Lopez was born in1980. He chairs various organizations such as Hawkers, Derrick Associates and O’Hara Administration. After his studies in economics and business, he worked for an energy company dealing in oil and exploration sectors. His responsibility was to control Latin American sectors.

After this, he worked for Guruceaga Group, an upcoming company. The company mainly dealt with real estate, finance, and trading of goods internally and in other countries. After that, he was appointed manager and later on worked in an energy company called BGB.

Alejandro Betancourt Lopez was instrumental in founding a company specializes in energy and in 2003, it officially started its daily operations. It has managed to get over 11 contracts in Venezuela. These contracts majorly involved the power plants’ construction. Alejandro’s success has not been a smooth journey since he has been criticized by many as he is allegedly linked to corruption.

Mr. Alejandro Betancourt Lopez launched O’Hara Administration to explore numerous fields. It comprises many international investors. . Furthermore, Betancourt wanted to identify favorable opportunities. The company succeeded immensely in the petroleum sector.

He held the lion’s share in Pacific Exploration & Production Corporation. In 2015, Alejandro’s shares rose from 19.5% to 19.95%, and soon he was appointed president. While in an interview, Alejandro Betancourt  stated that his objective was to expand the company in various sectors. Together with Fernando Chico, Alejandro suggested restructuring the company. The estimated bid was 576 million dollars.

Apart from this, Alejandro is a major shareholder in a financial group called BDK. The group introduced banking services for French-speaking individuals in Senegal. Alfredo Saenz Abad was appointed as the bank’s president. Spanish sunglasses company Hawkers was failing tremendously in 2016. Therefore, the company directors had to reach out to various investors like Alejandro. They invested over 50 million Euros in the company. Soon after, Alejandro Betancourt Lopez was elected the president of Hawkers.
